Scrambling, and at some points quite exposed. The listed route continues via technical climbing to the top of the spire that is still unopened.

Starting the hike above the large wash to save altitude would be a mistake. It's not easy to cross.

  • Matériel : None needed. Emergency kit for a rappel if jumping isn't possible would be wise. It would be very treacherous to downclimb.
  • Posé : Can land in the river valley below (~1000m alt.), or along the road (~800m-900m alt.). Expect high winds during the day, typical to the Andes.
