Hey
If you are a keen base jumper you can get a us coding radio from here..
http://www.apexbase.com/product.php?product_id=69Stavanger base klubb have just bought 60 radios, but normally after heliboogie everyone purchases them and takes them up north where it is a great idea to have..
I have been in kjerag for the last 3 season and have seen that having a radio reallyy helps
1. if your a slow hiker then you would be last and need a radio to call boat.
2. if your in trouble , off heading hung up on wall.
3 . land on talus which takes 30 mins for people to get to you , you can say your ok...
They are great reasons, plus you can then take the radios back to where you jump and use these as saving devices.
The choice is yours..
What i always say to my student when i teach is
If you can afford a go pro you can afford a radio which will save your life,
